Requirements for Fiji Marriage License
To get married in the Fiji Island, you first must obtain a Marriage License from either the Registrar Generals Office in Suva or the Attorney General’s Chambers in Lautoka. Office hours 8am – 1pm and 2pm – 3pm Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 12pm Friday excluding public holidays
- Original or certified copies of Birth Certificates of both bride and groom.
Passports if above not available.
- Consent of parents or guardian if under 21 years. Bride must be over 16 years and groom over 18 years.
- Decree Absolute if either party is divorced, Death Certificate if previous spouse is deceased.
