International Dateline Fiji

The 180th Meridian is about 10 minute walk south of the Garden Island Resort. This was where the international dateline once passed. The dateline was later changed so as not to bisect Taveuni and split the island into today and tomorrow. The Meridian Theater is also located about one kilometer south of the dateline.
